DPS909 Blog: Release 0.4
Worked on the ChatGPT for Google, which is the browser extension to display ChatGPT response alongside Google Search results, supports Chrome/Edge/Firefox. And Basic-memory-game. I have really liked their idea and want to contribute into their project which i have learned in DPS909. I have searched through their issue and their repository and find out they are not using any Linter in their code. I have learned about the Linter in one of my labs which motivated me to add that into their work.

DPS909 Blog: Release 0.4-Planning
For Release 0.4 I have decided to use all the skills which I have learned in this course. And try to add new feature with those skills in an open sources project. I have decided to add the Linter to the open source project which I worked on during Release 0.2 which is Basic-memory-game.

# Release 0.2 - PR #1
The Basic-memory-game repo hosts the code for a tile-matching memory game. There was a problem, described in Issue #104 where tiles that were flipped face-up would not be rendered at a constant size. Thus, if tiles used image files with different dimensions, then the tiles would be re-arranged haphazardly upon being flipped face-up.

DPS909 Blog :First contirbution in HACKTOBERFEST
Finding the right open source project was really challenging for me, we were asked to work on any GitHub hosted open source project with the repo with the Hacktoberfest topic and/or Issues with the Hacktoberfest label. For my first contribution in open source project i have choose this project Basic-memory-game. This is Basic Concentration (card game). It is a particularly good game for young children, though adults may find it challenging and stimulating as well.

To Review or Not to Review: The Debate on Mandatory Code Reviews
Automating code checks with static code analysis allows us to enforce code styling effectively. By integrating tools into our workflow, we can identify errors at an early stage, while coding instead of blocking us at the end. For instance, flake8 checks Python code for style and errors, eslint performs similar checks for JavaScript, and prettier automatically formats code to maintain consistency.

Git Project Configuration With Husky and ESLint
Let’s walk through the steps for a one-time setup to configure husky pre-commit and pre-push hooks, ESLint with code styles conventions, prettier code formatter, and lint-staged. Husky automatically runs a script on each commit or push. This is useful for linting files to enforce code styles that keeps the entire code base following conventions.
