What are some alternatives?
Basic-IoT-API - Basic Microcontroller API Consumption
Google-Sheets-Logging - Log data from an ESP8266 device directly to Google Sheets without a third party service. Log sensor data, send data by pressing a button, and receive data from a Google spreadsheet. (NodeMCU, Wemos D1 mini, Adafruit Feather HUZZAH, etc)
Xbox-EEPROM-Utility - Original Xbox EEPROM Dumper based on an ESP32 and ESP8266.
RESTCpp - Cross Platform Multi threaded REST API / HTTP Server framework using thread-pooling implementation with modern C++
Thingspeak - ThingSpeak is an open source “Internet of Things” application and API to store and retrieve data from things using HTTP over the Internet or via a Local Area Network. With ThingSpeak, you can create sensor logging applications, location tracking applications, and a social network of things with status updates.

devicescript - TypeScript for Tiny IoT Devices (ESP32, RP2040, ...)
Nanoterm - A minimal implementation of an Arduino Framework terminal emulator
esp32-cam-webserver - Expanded version of the Espressif ESP webcam
wundergraph-demo - This Repository demonstrates how to combine 7 APIs (4 Apollo Federation SubGraphs, 1 REST, 1 standalone GraphQL, 1 Mock) into one unified GraphQL API which is then securely exposed as a JSON API to a NextJS Frontend.
