Finally managed to order the last part of my first PC build. Excited isn't the word. Does anyone have any recommendations on any beginner software that may come in handy?
also check out the Awesome-Windows list and some of the pull requests if you just want to spend some time to explore what cool programs are out there. some general programs I like to shout out:
- what can i do to improve my desktop?
- I think that after every major iOS release we should make a pinned thread where we discuss what features were broken or what UI changes were introduced

Self-hosted on a VPS is the first option for me, it's cheap and you have total control on everything. It's valid in my case because I know my way through infrastructure and configuration, so a panel isn't too much gain.
