Kyber VS FrostyFix

Using kyber.gg and having the mod installed

I tried the whole Kyber fiesta. But there werent any populated servers to choose from on the kyber.gg site. I installed the BF2022 and the BF expanded mods but that didnt help. And is it normal to select a server on kyber and not be able to endter the main menu anymore. (im sorry im very new to the game and would love to play more)

You could’ve looked up and found out that Hackers can copy people’s user names, and EA doesn’t care about this game anymore enough to do anything about them. If you want a supported battlefront 2 game, then use Kyber I know you meant no ill-will, I’m just saying to be careful in the future.

We would need custom servers for Squadrons, like BF2 Kyber, but Squadrons doesn't having anyone willing or able to do that.

I've explored ways to mod the client so it punishes pinballing, but to enable such features in multiplayer would either require some serious hacking, or the creation of custom servers like kyber.

Now that you have everything downloaded, simply go to kyber.gg again and look at the list of servers. If you click on one, it will show you the mods you need to join and the order they should go in when you apply them. Click "Yes" to join the server. Download the displayed mods from NexusMods. Run Mod Limit Fixer and Kyber Clinet in the backgroundand. Apply the in the order shown in Frosty Mod Manager, and then Launch through either Frosty Mod Manager or Frosty Fix. It should show the title screen with and then drop you right into the game or player selection screen.

There are servers available at kyber.gg although since the game's population has been dwindling... so is the pop there. Still, people still play.

You're going to all have to install the mod on the newest version of frosty, then you're going to have to download kyberclient, run it as administrator and let it through your firewall, then host a server on kyber.gg and then all launch with kyberclient open while connected to the server. Look up how to do all those steps, watch AZZATRU's modding install guide. If you're only using one mod (battlefront 2022) it shouldn't take long if nothing goes wrong with frosty or kyber. But BE PATIENT because it takes time, if you get frustrated easily you'll never get it done. And if you're a Star Wars fan, it's WORTH IT once you've got it started up.

You possibly need to install and run FrostyFix in conjunction with FrostModManager to allow it to make the necessary changes.

I’m by no means a modding expert but…have you tried Frosty Fix? I had a similar issue once I had to download the EA app and had to download Frosty Fix to use my mods. It’s a bit of a pain but that’s my guess! https://github.com/Dyvinia/FrostyFix

FrostyFix is enabled - FrostyFix is a utility for enabling modding of some frostbite games. Squadrons will not launch while it is enabled. Uninstalling FrostyFix will not disable it, you must first disable mods before/without uninstalling it.
