Testing Samsung Dex as a Laptop Replacement: Any Pointers?
If you want to use your fold4 as a desktop/laptop you can use https://andronix.app/ to install a linux distro on the phone. Basically it will install a linux distro into Termux and you can then "login" into it via VNC. I installed WebStorm on it and synched all plugins and settings on it and it runs like a charm also with big projects. If you decide to use a linux distro on the phone and want to install some other software, get the aarch64 / arm7 versions.

Not strictly a VM, but, for example: https://andronix.app/ I don't have a need to run a VM otherwise, so I'm not well versed on it. Plenty of emulation options. Android 13 made it possible to run KVM but it seems it's limited to Tensor chips in Pixels.

If the pull command is crashing and you have Android version >12, then likely you dealing with "phantom process killer" known issue.
