Opinion on Discord Python wrappers [Analysis]
They announced the partnership on the 9th, IIRC, so they might still be in the planning stages. I’ve got no idea what will come of it, nor (to be honest) why it’s happening in the first place. It doesn’t sound like a merger, just an assurance of interoperability.

For discord.py users, what library are you going switch?
The other lib I might try also in the future is interactions.py due to its benchmarks and its purity for only being able to support the interactions api. The lib is also rather unstable for now so I'll wait for its full-blown stable release.
What are some alternatives?
Amogus - Converts an image into a tiled amogus gif.
pycord - Pycord, a maintained fork of discord.py, is a python wrapper for the Discord API
DingoLingo - A Discord music bot written in Python with support for Youtube, SoundCloud, Spotify, Bandcamp, Twitter, and custom files.
nextcord - A Python wrapper for the Discord API forked from discord.py
amogus - Text based visualizer for Rainmeter
DiscordTest
talking-ben - Discord bot based on the Talking Ben character by Outfit7
Cybel - A Powerfull, Advanced, and Open Source Discord Bot using async api and Postgres DB
amongus-stats-tracker - Keep track of your Among Us career
hikari - A Discord API wrapper for Python and asyncio built on good intentions.
RoboTito - Bot based in discord.py
hikari-lightbulb - The official unofficial command handler for the Python discord API wrapper library, Hikari.
