Which companions do you play with the least?
Because I EEKeeper my custom builds onto them, I pretty much never touch the BG1 NPCs that don't appear in BG2. Which means in BG1 I'm pretty much going with some combination of Imoen, Jaheira, Minsc, Viconia, Edwin. I will occasionally go for Alora because she's my favourite of the 1 and dones, and back in the day there was a decent BG2 mod to bring her in. It's supposedly still a thing, but I haven't used it for ages.

Is there a companion pack for Icewind Dale with characters from Baldur's Gate?
Not really. There are companion mods for IWD, like the IWD NPC Project but these aren't conversions of BG NPCs. An option is to use their voice and portrait and mask your own characters into them (this can be made even less immersion-breaking if you create and export them and then use the NPC Generator mod to add them into the game).
What are some alternatives?
SwordCoastStratagems - Sword Coast Stratagems (SCS) adds over 130 optional components to Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition, Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, Baldur's Gate Trilogy, mostly focused around improving monster AI and encounter difficulties, but also including cosmetic and ease-of-use components, tweaks to abilities or spells.
Baldurs-Gate-NPC-Voice-Pack-for-EE-2.6 - Baldur's Gate NPC Voice Pack for Infinity Engine Enhanced Edition games version 2.6 and above.
