Adwaita-for-Steam VS duckduckgo-privacy-extension

I use this skin its mostly fine and looks much better than default for me

Adwaita for Steam seems to not play well with this new beta, but I don't understand how to uninstall this theme. Any help? Thanks!

I'd love to some day see a GTK interface option, similar to https://github.com/tkashkin/Adwaita-for-Steam but actually a GTK/libadwaita app rather than just emulating the look.

A good fix is installing the Adwaita skin for Steam Or if you prefer the vanilla steam use this skin

I'm using cantarell-static for Adwaita-for-Steam to work better. After an flatpak package update, none of my flatpak gnome apps can use this font anymore.

The adwaita theme for steam does not have the first issue.

All you have to do is to edit resource/layout/uinavigatorpanel.layout of your skin and replace all references to emailreminderbar or phonereminderbar with LibraryAnchor. Here is this fix applied to my skin for example.

do you mean steam app theme or profile theme? if its steam app then github is your friend (example), if its for your profile then steam points shop

I'm assuming they're talking about https://duckduckgo.com/app, which DDG does call the DDG Browser themselves, since that was involved in a 'scandal' re. trackers

I’d also recommend considering choosing a good internet browser, as you stated “ i just dont feel comfortable if companies and people can see everything ive ever searched up”. A browser that either blocks ads and trackers or at least doesn’t contain its own trackers, is a great start. I would recommend using either Firefox, Brave, or DuckDuckGo. You also should use some sort of additional tracker blocker, such as uBlock Origin.

Have a look at duckduckgo.com, it has a browser for iPhone and Android that is supposed to block all these trackers by design. I've not heard anything bad about it from anyone else yet and information can be found here: https://duckduckgo.com/app

Duck Duck Go for android.. Has app tracking protection, and email protection that strips out the trackers when you open an email. The email works where you pick a duck.com email name, and it forwards to your real email, minus the trackers.
