Want to install an old package but struggling with dependencies? Try pypi-timemachine
This week a user of one of my open source projects was trying to install a 2-year-old version of it. Since we usually don't put upper version pinnings on the dependencies because it has a number of drawbacks, pip was pulling an old version of my package with cutting-edge versions of its dependencies, and the code was completely broken.
