How to WebAR?
If you would like to use A-Frame to make an AR scene/site then check out AR.js (https://github.com/AR-js-org/AR.js). A-Frame's blog also did a 'How to AR' tutorial a few years back that may be helpful as well (https://aframe.io/blog/arjs/).

Confused, need some answers
My favorite way for something like your need of just image tracking with some effects is usually using AR.js as that’s the cheapest way and no random platform interfering, does require more code than platform based options though.

Your Phone is your key to this safe augmented festival starting tomorrow
Mobile apps are super tough, and I've been there myself. For a quick proof-of-concept, maybe next time you could start with a browser-based implementation using something AR.js

Open-source web AR coloring project
Happy to share my open-sourced web AR coloring project. Repo: https://github.com/akbartus/WebAR-Coloring Demo: https://webarcoloring-component.glitch.me (there are more demos which could be accessed through repo). Please note: in the examples texture is applied only to one part of 3D model. If needed texture could be applied to the whole model (just need to do more texture mapping).

Wanted to share with a small project I was working on recently. It shows the implementation of web based AR coloring app. On the back it uses u2net ML model. Powered by A-Frame and MindAr.js. Repo: https://github.com/akbartus/WebAR-Coloring
