Which Version?
You'll need a copy of the unaltered last official release ver. 1.1 (Google=Friend), and the AM2R Launcher. The Launcher will automagically update the official release with all community updates.

Best Free Stuff
There's endless freeware PC games I recommend for people with low spec builds especially like Iji, Cave Story (fuck Nicalis, and download the NXEngine-evo version), and a million and one RPGMaker games like Yume Nikki. There's also really great fangames like Jojo 7th Stand User, Pokémon Infinite Fusion, AM2R, Power Bomberman, and don't get me started on Sonic fangames but a recent one that's fantastic and unique is Sonic and the Fallen Star.

AM2R 2.0 Preview Build #2
We *do* have Mac am2rlauncher builds, but they're not ready yet and need a lot of testing / further improvements. If you'd like to help with that, feel free to join on discord/matrix/xmpp and ask on any channel. The tldr; last time i checked is tho, that you need xdelta3 installed via homebrew, download the am2rlauncher release from the actions (https://github.com/AM2R-Community-Developers/AM2RLauncher/actions/workflows/build-and-publish.yml , you need to be logged into github in order to see them) and then run them the launcher from a terminal with "open /path/to/am2rlauncher.app" iirc.

Android apps on Vita (not games)
Most android "loaders" (like YoYo Loader or all the ports for games listed on https://android.rinnegatamante.it/) rely on the fact that those applications are NOT interacting with the underlaying operating system (that much), because they are either using a game engine or are designed in a cross-platform manner in some other way. They implement "just enough Android" to fool these apps into running.

heh, don't know the game, but the name is perfect. lucky for you pal, after some research through the cyberspace I found out your game is in gamemaker engine, so hope it isn't YYC because that gives you a chance to run it with Rinn's YoYoLoader (https://github.com/Rinnegatamante/yoyoloader_vita). after you get the YoYo installed, you gonna do an asset swap - everything is detailed on the page, ask me in case you have any questions, but hopefully you get it working. can't check it myself as I'm saving for Pizza Tower

Use the instructions on the yoyoloader github page linked in my prior post to setup the kubridge and fdfix plugins yoyoloader needs to run, and grab the yoyoloader vpk to install on the vita.

Apparently you can play Mario Maker on vita using Rinnegatamante's yoyo loader
How to: 1. Install yoyo loader: https://github.com/Rinnegatamante/yoyoloader_vita 2. Join this discord channel: https://discord.gg/enginekingdom 3. Go to auto-roles and react with the American flag at the last message, this will show you a new channel called chat-English 4. Go to chat-English and ask on how to download the android version and how to create an account to access online, wait till mod helps you out. 5. go to ux0:/data/gms and create a folder SMM_WE.apk inside this folder put the apk you downloaded and rename it to game.apk 6. Start yoyo loader press triangle on SMM_WE.apk and enable "run with extended runner pool", "run with mem squeezing", "Enable network features", "compress textures" and I also use "force bilinear filter" makes the 3d look nicer and less pixelated but its up to your preference. 7. In-game only the dpad works as directions buttons and the jump run etc buttons are in the touch only, to assign touch buttons to actual buttons you can download from auto plugin the plugin called revita, and assign the touch areas to actualy buttons. Enjoy.
