Is there a companion pack for Icewind Dale with characters from Baldur's Gate?
Not really. There are companion mods for IWD, like the IWD NPC Project but these aren't conversions of BG NPCs. An option is to use their voice and portrait and mask your own characters into them (this can be made even less immersion-breaking if you create and export them and then use the NPC Generator mod to add them into the game).

Romantic Encounters for BG1 - with a caveat here. I don't install any of the sexy stuff (no judgment, just not my thing), but there are a few quests in it that I really like - two of them about delivering letters, and one about finding old love letters.

Romantic Encounters for BG1: wait wait hear me out! There are quests that don’t involve fucking anyone. One of them has you delivering some mail, and one involves tracking down some errant love letters to possibly reunite a long-separated couple.
