The 10101 code is completely open source and available on GitHub - we strongly encourage to have a look! Be aware that this is still early stage software - we are currently having a closed beta to iron out bugs and make sure the protocols and application logic around them are implemented in a robust and resilient way before we will open up for more user.

You can follow topics on some clients like Damus. Do you mean reddit-like clients? I don't think there's great demand for reddit-like clients but there are a couple, nvote and just recently someone developed ZappedIt.
