Should I use UKMM instead? | /r/cemu | 2023-06-26When I right click Breath of the Wild on CEMU and go to "Edit graphics pack" it seems there are some mods (like remove HUD elements, custom cel shading and glowing guardian color). Should I install mods using this CEMU feature, or should I use UKMM?
That being said, if you want to triple boot the device, Brian's patch explains how to do that here. This would probably be the best option since you want to keep the original firmware.
For botw use CEMU-NO-GYRO to map the gyro to stick to do the gyro puzzles and disable gyro aiming in the options to play with a gyroless controller.
There's no app on the 3DS Homebrew that does this, at least not any time soon. But there is an ALBW randomizer that you can use on the PC to create the Randomized ALBW to then be installed onto your 3DS. Here is the github: https://github.com/rickfay/z17-randomizer
Unfortunately, this isn't enough. The audio for the files is not part of the video itself, instead every cutscene has an associated .bfevfl.zs (compressed binary event flow) file that includes the timeline to trigger multiple audio clips / events during the playback. I've used some excellent tools to extract/recompress (Totk.ZStdTool) and edit (evfl) these files using a quick and dirty python script.
