Flashing custom firmware - the current version QMK tool off the website won't work. You'll most likely get a "USB device connected (NO DRIVER): WB Device in DFU Mode " and not be able to flash anything. You will need the beta version that supports WB32 flashing utility. I grabbed mine from the GMMK guide QMK tool from GMMK
Project mention: Is it possible to have a magic key for same finger skipgrams? | /r/KeyboardLayouts | 2023-12-05Yes, it is technically possible in QMK to record a history of the previous 2 keys (or more) to have a skipgram-reducing magic key. This is possible in QMK by saving the keycode for each event in a sliding buffer. See my example on triggering based on previously typed keys and the source for my Sentence Case for implementations of such a key history buffer. I see u/mEFErqlg shared an implementation as well in another comment thread.
I have custom alpha layers and extremely optimized symbol layers, combos and other features in my keymap. It is not designed for web development, but it is good for VIM and Java.
Regarding chording, you might find inspiration in the chording schemes in Ikcelaks’ Magic Sturdy, the Ardux project, and precondition's "steno-lite" combos.
Here is a minimal vim config [1] that I use if I find myself wanting to use (neo)vim. My evil-mode config [2] in Emacs. Remapping `less` keys [3].
