    I was scrolling through wiseoldman.net and started clicking around and found leaderboards for all different things. I after looking for a bit I can't understand how Jagex can have this many bots let through the system.

Just sideload "Traditional T9" app and choose specs, not T9 options. See link https://github.com/sspanak/tt9 I think, the Kyocera DuraXV extreme+ is best option.
