Project mention: Help with Maya Hardware 2.0 Renderer - Lighting not affecting textures? | /r/Maya | 2023-09-11I installed kamone's real time toonshader from gumroad here and i am wanting to use it on my models, which use textures. I did the steps I read on the readme of the github page and I assigned my model the directx 11 material. From then on i'm not completely sure what i'm doing is correct- I assigned the texture to the model using the Base Colour Map in the colour section of the attribute editor. I set up some lights and rendered. The pieces of the model that are assigned a plain lambert texture are affected by the lighting, but the textured pieces with the toonshader applied to them are not. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong and how I could fix this, or does this shader just not get affected by lighting? Thank you :)
Code here https://github.com/NCCA/ClutterBase It covers a lot of the areas mentioned below so may be of use as idea generation. Here are the lecture notes https://nccastaff.bournemouth.ac.uk/jmacey/msc/PipeLineAndTD/
