  • Project mention: Things 3 and Obsidian | /r/ObsidianMD | 2023-06-14

I would consider myself an average coder, but when utilizing the things.py library with the tasks plugin in obsidian I was able to get a synced list of my things3 todos into a markdown format that tasks can recognize. Now whenever I open my obsidian vault, things and obsidian tasks are synced giving me a kanban style view of my upcoming week. I would have liked having all of my todos inside of obsidian soley, but the absence of a notification option on mobile has kept me from going that route. It's much simpler to dictate my todos to siri as well and just have them appear in my vault when I open it.
