I had never tried this as I always add events to calendar from the website. But I tried from c:geo just now and am seeing the same behavior. Looking at github, this is actually an issue that is known but they haven't made a fox for it, as apparently, without using the API, there is no way for c:geo to tell the timezone of the event, reading from the website... https://github.com/cgeo/cgeo/issues/4671 https://github.com/cgeo/cgeo/issues/7243 https://github.com/cgeo/cgeo/issues/13515
