awesome-project-ideas
Curated list of Machine Learning, NLP, Vision, Recommender Systems Project Ideas
Project mention: Procedurally generated rocks in my software "Proc-rock" | reddit.com/r/proceduralgeneration | 2021-03-10My best recommendation I could give you is to simply create things. Start small, for example create a small program in the field you're interested in and then go from there. You can check this for ideas on what to create. There's a lot of resources in there.

Scout APM
Scout APM - Leading-edge performance monitoring starting at $39/month. Scout APM uses tracing logic that ties bottlenecks to source code so you know the exact line of code causing performance issues and can get back to building a great product faster.

I've heard good things about Smile, probably beats libs like Weka by far. I'm not sure if you can load a scikit-learn model though, so you might need to retrain the model in Kotlin.

I am using visual programming tools that overlap with the no-code concept such as: KNIME and Orange. To visualize the results, I use connectors with platforms like DataStudio or Google AppSheet.

Imho, Julia is more diverse in the sense that there is not a single popular ML library. Maybe the Julian equivalent for scikit-learn is MLJ.jl. There is also ScikitLearn.jl, which defines the usual interface of scikit-learn models, and specific algorithms then implement this interface.

Project mention: Vector API (JEP 338) Benchmark Results for Matrix Multiplication, Image Convolution, and Image Thresholding. | reddit.com/r/java | 2021-03-22
That sounds good. The Panama team welcome feedback. I've been using it on and off for about 4 years while it's been in development to accelerate some ML workloads (full disclosure, I work in the machine learning group in Oracle's research labs), and it's improved greatly in that time. I plan to circle back now Java 16 is out and test out vectorising Tribuo's math ops.

And just in case OP doesn't see it as soon as he opens it: r/datacurator/wiki/index and datacurator-filetree (an empty github filetree that shows a basic and simple, but very efficient imo, method of sorting your files, not of naming them, but of sorting them)

AutoMLPipeline.jl
A package that makes it trivial to create and evaluate machine learning pipeline architectures.
