Auto-hiding polybar for more screen space
Regarding dependencies, for normal text, I use Hack Nerd font. The materialicons font is used for all icons in my polybar and the dark forest font is used for my i3wm workspace display.

Stupid question, Nerd Fonts icons show only the left half side
Not a stupid question, that happened to me before. I personally would recommend Material Icons, but if you still want to use nf, you can just put a space before a after the icon. Something like this: %{T1} ICON %{T-}, you can find more info in polybar fonts, also you can check my collection.

Expo SDK 40 beta is now available
@expo/vector-icons has been updated to track the latest icon sets from [email protected] (the previously tracked version was 6.6.0). Updated icon sets: MaterialCommunityIcons to 5.3.45, MaterialIcons to 4.0.0, FontAwesome 5 to 5.13.0, and Feather to 4.28.0.

Material font icons on Xamarin Forms
You need to download the TFF font at material design google repo, so go to material-design-icons > font > MaterialIcons-Regular.ttf.
You will need the hexadecimal code, You can get it at MaterialIcons-Regular.codepoints.
