I feel like a java forge mod would be more suited as you could literally get the position of blocks and entities (kind of like a Baritone bot. Maybe Baritone is actually what you're looking for?) but if your goal is to use only what you see on the screen to input keypresses, it'd be pretty hard to code something actually good/useful in any programming language considering the amount of AI image recognition you'd have to do to recognize all the stuff on screen, its 3D position, etc. etc.
