As someone who helped produce the analysis of the mid-2021 transaction volume anomaly, I can tell you that the total volume data right now doesn't appear to have the same characteristics of a sudden spike that the previous incident had. However, it could be good to re-run the deep analysis that we did. Or you could do it. The code is open source.
