You are wrong here because even if you have to save only the hex-seed. I will even give you the best advantage, let's say you only have to save 2 hex digits as a hex-seed (instead of private spend key and private view key). The reason why you are wrong is: the HEX Seed that you talking about is NOT supported by any wallet. In other words, NOT ONLY you have to save that 2 hex digits, but you ALSO have to save that software/algorithm that generates you in a determinist way (from the 2 hex-digits seed) your private spend key and your private view key, in your case you have to save https://github.com/luigi1111/xmr.llcoins.net. If you don't save the algorithm/software and that software gets removed from the internet you are F*KD because no wallet recognizes your stupid hex-seed.
