Looking to merge an arcade stick (Sanwa or Seimitsu with high tension, short throw and Battop) + MX Cherry keys as buttons (same spacing as a keyboard).
the vsfighter (https://leafcutterlabs.com/products/vsfighter), the fightboard mx (https://www.etsy.com/listing/845376230/fightboard-mx), and the keycade kkl (https://www.keycade.net/products/keycade-kkl-ps-arcade-controller) have the right-side spacing you want, but the left-side controls all use a WASD layout instead of a joystick. you can probably contact the keycade guys to make a custom layout for you which has keyboard keys on the right and a joystick on the left, but it will likely be quite expensive. you could also take an open source design like the vsfighter (https://github.com/LeafCutterLabs/vsFIGHTER) and modify the design yourself to allow a joystick.

Just enjoying the fruits of our labor...native Switch support for the vsFIGHTER!
I don't know a whole lot about getting the hardware produced, but the source files for the hardware are available at https://github.com/LeafCutterLabs/vsFIGHTER. Once you have the parts produced the assembly is quite easy. Then you'll just want to flash the latest firmware package from https://github.com/FeralAI/vsFIGHTER-Firmware/releases and you're good to go.
- [REQUEST] looking for something close to this for the vsfighter.
