Bookworm – the new version of Raspberry Pi OS
Interesting.
For my "canned mainframe" (https://github.com/rbanffy/vm370) ARM images, I'm using Debian as a base, since it has the armv6 architecture listed and I didn't notice any adverse effects.
Could this be a side-effect of the popularity of the RPi?
The Debian website lists armhf as supported: https://www.debian.org/CD/http-ftp/

Ask HN: Anyone with ppc64le and s390x boxes to test a Docker image?
I moved my IBM370 VM/370 docker container image to multi-arch but I don’t have a RISCV (or POWER, or s390x) metal running Docker to make sure Hercules starts up correctly.
There is more information on https://hub.docker.com/r/rbanffy/vm370. Platform-specific tags are on https://hub.docker.com/r/rbanffy/vm370/tags and (you shouldn’t trust me and run my container images) the GitHub repo that has the specs is at https://github.com/rbanffy/vm370
