Wow Ubiquiti’s customer support is garbage.
You can decrypt that file too if you ever need: https://github.com/zhangyoufu/unifi-backup-decrypt

All devices disconnecting and adopting (figured out cause, looking for resolution)
I dumped the controller backups, extracted the data using this amazing tool and just opened the backup database in file directly. In there, I see the bad hostname I had set, and that override_inform_host appears to have a different utf8 gibberish value compared to an older backup I had.

Automatic update to 1.9.1 causing complete failure of management system in UDM-Pro and Cloud Key Gen2
Use openssl to decrypt the UNF File and do the diff compare with the older config backups

SSO auth bug resulted in losing my entire Unifi network. PSA: Setup a local admin account!
The config files for EdgeOS are just gzipped tarballs, so it looks like it would be straightforward there. I just tried unzipping a Unifi config without success - it looks like they're encrypted, and a little search shows somebody has made a decryptor ( https://github.com/zhangyoufu/unifi-backup-decrypt) but doesn't explain how to extract the keys.

Cloud Key - Won't work - Need help resetting
Cloudkeys are simple embedded linux devices that also happen to run a Unifi controller. The password you have gets you into the cloudkey itself. That means you have full administrative access to the environment in which the controller runs, and can use it to pivot into the controller. This can be done by editing a UNF backup file or by editing the data store used by the running controller. If you go the UNF backup route, be aware it's encrypted as described here: https://github.com/zhangyoufu/unifi-backup-decrypt
