Is there any good up to date android documentation for ARCore? I have been looking at official ARCore website but can't find anything related to how to create local anchors and add objects or models in your app and attach them to local anchors.
Google abandoned the Sceneform SDK. They now "recommend" using Unity for AR stuff (Unity ARCore SDK). If Unity is not the option the last resort is the fork https://github.com/thomasgorisse/sceneform-android-sdk

Why should Android developers start building AR apps before 2024?
Until recently, you could use Google’s dedicated Sceneform SDK. But in 2020, Google moved Sceneform to the archive and withdrew further support for it. Currently, the Sceneform repository is maintained by enthusiasts and is available here. It must be said that the repository is updated quite frequently. However, there is still a risk of using technology that is not supported by Google.
