Securing Open Source Organizations - A PolyMc Case Study
Now, while that is essentially all of the PolyMc project, there were a few key items that were not controlled by Lenny. The first being the Microsoft authentication, used by PolyMc to log users into Minecraft, was owned by Scrumplex, a now ex-maintainer of PolyMc. (Scrumplex also owned the Open Collective, but more on that later.) Additionally, there were a number of community maintained packages like chocolatey, flatpak, winget, scoop, and Debian / Ubuntu that were not directly under Lenny's control.
