Could really use some help with a plugin rake task issue

I created it by running rails plugin new, and I published it as a gem so I could develop it and test it separately from the projects I hope to use it in. I wrote this plugin to improve upon another one I was using called schema2type, which provided a shell command to generate the ts types, but did it by inspecting the schema.rb file. There was an issue comment which suggested a better way to generate the types, so I took inspiration and rolled it all up into a gem.
