Is it safe to install Onlyoffice on my Ubuntu?
Not familiar with OnlyOffice, but you could block all network activity for it. On Linux, the easy way to do this is using Flatpak's sandboxing. Get the app via FlatHub and use Flatseal to remove its network permission. Flatseal can also be used to remove access to files you don't want it touching.

Microsoft Office on deck??

Just switched from windows to Ubuntu
For office stuff, I recommend using WPS Office and OnlyOffice. OnlyOffice has less bugs, though it has less functions and compatibility with Office. As a last resort, you can install Office 365 via CrossOver if you really need it.

You can try ONLYOFFICE from Flathub, or download the .rpm from their website.
