Turning on a lamp with Nano
Not sure what the best route there would be, but you can get a pi or arduino to interface with the bill acceptor inputs. It's usually just simple voltage pulses at a given frequency. Some people were making one-way bitcoin ATMs like that wayy back in 2014.
