However, your comment about open source I will address because it is factually incorrect. Almost every line of avionics code that we have publicly released -- by far the bulk of our work -- is open source and available on github under a slightly modified MIT license.
  • Almost 1 Year since the release of Fenix A320, in my opinion this is the best thing that happened to MSFS since it’s release, an absolute joy to fly.

I have, several times. And most directly relevant is that in the past couple years I've hired a dozen developers at all levels specifically to work on flight sim. If I were to lose one of my most experienced developers I would expect it to hurt me for 6 months to a year before I was able to find someone of equivalent knowledge who fit in the team, brought them in, put them through initial training, and then let them come up to speed on our existing code to a level where they could replace the person I lost.

Sorry, but I think I need to object to having the NXi called a "fairy minor mod". πŸ™‚ It and the SDKs built alongside it represent something on the order of 200,000 lines of code, and >10,000 person-hours of development time. And it's all open source, and is used by, well... everyone who flies any G1000 plane in the game.
