The Best OCaml is the Worst OCaml
In contrast, the low level API of notty is very good, but it makes no portability effort what-so-ever. The combination with def's lwd is very promising and could probably supplant a more traditional OO widget-y API while being easier to use, but it needs a bit more engineering work to be as feature-rich.
