Ask HN: Self hosted Waitlist with Landing page?
"Preferably using shadcn/react/supabase. I don't want to reinvent the wheel here."
Respectfully, you don't need supabase for a landing page with waitlist especially when you don't want to reinvest the wheel. You have several options:
1. Find a WordPress theme that has the form built in. The fastest out of the box setup you will find.
2. If you don't want WordPRess or deal with PHP etc, then there are plenty of static HTML templates you can find. Just google "Landing Page Templates with Waitlist". One example for you [0]
For Option 2, you can connect the form to an existing API from any email provider like mailchimp, loops, etc. If you want to self host, you can get something like sendy [1] or listmonk [2]

Show HN: I made an open source Mailchimp RSS-to-Email alternative
Listmonk is a seriously awesome piece of software!
Have used it to run multiple newsletters, over various version upgrades (almost all stress free), and even written some custom integrations with the API.

TinyLetter Shut Down by Mailchimp, So I Built the LetterDrop
This is remarkable. If things like these could be AI generated (or even tweaked) to fit a use case, that kind of spells doom for bloated Saas products. Would be amazing to see the progress along this vector.
You may want to look at https://github.com/knadh/listmonk for how to handle heavier loads. This is also a nice project used by Zerodha in India to send millions of newsletters on a daily basis.
