  DSTT cannot launch normally from the HOME menu. You need an alternative Slot-1 Launcher. TWiLight Menu++ can launch it. NTR Launcher can as well (particularly the one I compiled here: https://github.com/lifehackerhansol/NTR_Launcher/releases)

• I was looking to buy a flash cart for my 3DS to run DS games and maybe gba games and other retro consoles and then I remembered I have this flash cart from my DS light and I was wondering if I can put firmware on this cart to make it work for my 3DS

  Apache Thunder has since moved on from the stage2 launchers like the one you have to NTR Launcher, which 100% works with the original R4. The latest version is kind of bugged out though, so I had to recompile the app from source and release it here: https://github.com/lifehackerhansol/NTR_Launcher/releases

  You could use my release of NTR Launcher (which is nothing different. Just fixes the funny NTR Launcher release that somehow got borked which a recompile of the source with no changes fixes...): https://github.com/lifehackerhansol/NTR_Launcher/releases/tag/2.5-hotfix
