Minor changes to Steam Deck internals.
huh really? I assumed this because on the source code : https://gitlab.com/evlaV/jupiter-hw-support/-/blob/master/usr/bin/jupiter-check-support , it shows that product_year="${product_serial:4:1}" product_week="${product_serial:5:2}" , so I did the calculation and it seemed to make sense as Valve have early units with year 2021 (EV2 units) so I assumed that the year/week are still in the SN. my motherboard have also name of "F7AA" instead of "F7A" , and also the SSD cover had "F7AA", so I have no idea if it means it is newer or not. also I noticed there is a date on the new fan 28/02/2023, so at least parts are newer while other parts might be older. might explain why users have type A and type B joysticks etc.

Unbricking your Steam Deck without a BIOS backup.
For anyone who went through all that and successfully recovered, if you're still trying to undervolt, you have to downgrade the BIOS to 110, which went successfully coming from 115 same as this post, >115 is not compatible with UMAF anymore apparently, you can downgrade using a command in steam os. https://gitlab.com/evlaV/jupiter-hw-support/-/blob/0660b2a5a9df3bd97751fe79c55859e3b77aec7d/usr/share/jupiter_bios/F7A0110_sign.fd
- Steam OS 3.5 did reset BIOS and made it impossible to Undervolt/Overclock
- Second dead SD card, bad deck or bad card brand?
- New Bios released. F7a0115

For those worried about the SD mount path changing in SteamOS 3.5
Valve apparently figured out the same solution as me. As evidenced by this change in their repo. The mount point will be moved to the new directory, but a symlink will be made to the legacy path. What does this mean? Nothing you've set up prior will break by this change once SteamOS 3.5 rolls out. You'll simply have 2 different paths to your SD card. However when you set up something new you should use the new path instead going forward. This is not required, but Valve is trying to phase out the old path in the long term.

New update on steam os running Windows only.
The bios file is in the SteamOS installation. If you are only running Windows, you should get the file from a mirror - e.g. https://gitlab.com/evlaV/jupiter-hw-support/-/tree/master/usr/share/jupiter_bios
