  • [HELP] [React.js] Using a ref callback function for the react-player library
    reddit.com/r/webdev | 2021-04-25
I am making a youtube sorta website using react.js and a video library called React-player. To get the duration of video and time elapsed, the library requires to use a ref prop (here), but I don't know how to use that. The syntax when looking through internet is for class component ref but I only use hooks. Can someone tell me how to extract the data I need and update a state? It is urgent and I would really appreciate any help. Thanks
