Dedicated button that sends a request instead of opening url
I work out based on a specific program, and I'm trying to make myself a widget to show on my homescreen what today's workout is. Now my problem is that I don't always workout on exactly the same days each week so I don't want to make it date based. I was hoping to be able to have a dedicated button for going to my next workout, and maybe even one for increasing/decreasing the weight, but I would want to just have these buttons send HTTP requests to my server and then refresh the widget, instead of opening a link. https://github.com/andyngo/conversable-for-scriptable <- I came across this example which does something very similar but again, it just opens a link, which will take me off my home page. Help much appreciated!
