  • Container built from local image exits when pulled from docker hub
    1 project | /r/docker | 7 Nov 2022
So I've just been trying to learn how to push and pull from docker hub. I have a bitnami PrestaShop lamp stack built from a compose file that persists the data to my host. So made some changes to the webserver and i pushed the images (of both the db and the engine) to hub. But when i mod my yml file to link to the new hub repositories the db container fires up the ps engine container exists.
  • Why can't i access my docker server from other computers on my LAN?
    1 project | /r/selfhosted | 8 Aug 2022
i used a yml file to create a prestashop webserver in docker containers. I did this on deb 11 in vmware workstation running on windows 10. All good. But what i really want; is for everyone on my LAN to be able to access the server... and at the moment the only access i can get is via my windows 10 (host) if i run vmware in NAT and forward ports via Virtual Network Editor.
