acid

"acid" is short for "algorithms create image data" and is a simple, general purpose video synthesizer for creating live visuals and computer generated images and animations. It works somewhat similar to an analog synthesizer with a little bit of Photoshop thrown in. (by softboydev)

    If you don't know about ACID: It is a digital video synthesizer that I am actively developing as an open source software. It has a (relatively) clean UI, build in export and is usable for live visuals as well (UI and Render window can both be undocked). You can find it on itch.io and Github.
