YouTube-TV-Client reviews and mentions
- TIL that youtube's TV client is just a website. change your user agent to a PS4 or a samsung smart tv and it works

I did a thing
Oh, I’ve got Widevine installed, but either YouTube’s TV interface (https://www.youtube.com/tv if you have the right User-Agent string) uses some other DRM scheme than regular YouTube or whatever browser bundled in with YouTube TV Client doesn’t incorporate Widevine properly (if at all).
-
One step closer. No DRM content yet, and only available in 16x9. The flicker is caused by the difference between the frame rate of the camera and the refresh rate of the monitor; it isn’t visible to the naked eye.
I enabled Snaps and installed the YouTube TV Client from the Snaps store. That was before I noticed the YouTube TV Client GitHub page.
