You're totally right on the Graphics Adapters and NVMe Storage Devices... That's why I was thinking maybe a community Wiki would be nice to document what does actually work. I've had luck with USB 3.0 cards and non-supported graphics cards in lab environments. Apple ranks embarrassingly low and barely makes the top 20 in the Open Source Contributors Index. It's placed lower than NVidia, a company infamous for their lack of open source support.
All this ranking shows is that Microsoft uses github to document non-open source software.

HOW TO: Activating Windows Server SKUs and Hyper-V VMs with AVMA.
Another method I haven't tried:Make a template VHD by running Convert-WindowsImage.ps1 on the evaluation ISO and then use DISM offline servicing to convert the edition to retail. You might even be able to preinstall the AMVA key afterward.
