  It's also a good idea to install the submod updater if you don't have it. These rooms do receive updates as new vertions of MAS are released (it'll even tell you when there's a submod update available).

  If the updater is crashing it might be out of date or having a hard time connecting and installing. the first thing you need to check is if the submod updater needs an update(if it does you need to update it solo).
