    Lastly, have you considered undervolting? Offsetting the voltage by -150 mV on my friends whose laptop sporting i7 9750H yields around 15% performance increase, while at the same time drastically reduces heat of the laptop, while also improving battery life! You'll need to unlock your BIOS first though, which involves editing the correct NVRAM value. After that, you can do the actual undervolting using my command line utility: https://github.com/jamestut/IntelVoltageControl Note that you have to set the same voltage offset for both plane 0 and 2 for this to work.
