Mods not actually doing anything?
I recommend using LaughingLeader's mod manager. It's much easier to manage mods with this than with the in game mod menu, as you can drag and drop mods in your load order instead of having to click arrows a bunch.

Best external mods to add to gameplay that aren't just flat out cheating?
To do MP with mods, you gotta have same mods. Probably same load order too. I would recommend getting the Divinity mod manager.

Steam workshop/modding help pls :)
It's a good idea to use LaughingLeader's mod manager. Perhaps the mod isn't being moved over properly and this mod manager helps with that. Also, sometimes it doesn't grab the mod/update entirely and you have to restart Steam to get it to download.

Strange bug, no idea what mod could cause it
You can enable the console in the Divinity Mod Manager as well - It writes to that same file. Screenshot

DOS2: First Playthrough - Rerolling trouble, could use some early game guidance.
A game feature. It is accessible in the start menu. I would also recommend the mod manager made by LaughingLeader. It uses the Osiris script extender that shortens loading times when playing with mods and makes it so you can get achievements in modded playthroughs. You can install it from here.
- Good way to check if mods are working without loading into the game

Good mod load out for 2022?

What mods should i have for my second playthrough?
Plus if you use mods, download LaughingLeader's mod manager here. The in game mod menu is hard to work with, and sometimes mods don't get moved over properly if on steam.

Will installing these 2 mods ruin the experience? I'm doing my 1st playthrough rn
If you still want to be getting achievements, you'll need a completely different add on. Apply the script extender to https://github.com/LaughingLeader-DOS2-Mods/DivinityModManager/releases/latest/download/DivinityModManager_Latest.zip.

Mods For 2nd Playthrough
Highly recommend Divinity Mod Manager. Simple and easy. Just make sure you export the mod list to the game when you make a change.
