Well, I'm partial to Chicago95 with support for "Microsoft plus" theme conversion So if you want to install Xenia Warrior Princess or Pokemon theme, you can.

  • A GTK theme based on Windows 3.11 appearance
    news.ycombinator.com | 2021-10-02
It's definitely a mix of the two, but I think the icon style, the window borders, the fonts, and the colors are all more reminiscent of 3.11 than 95.

For a comparison of something very much 95 inspired, take a look at Chicago95, which only works with Xfce: https://github.com/grassmunk/Chicago95

  • Any linux distro or new distro project that looks exactly like Windows 98 or Windows XP

Yeah, it doesn't matter if you made someone's Linux desktop look like a damn near exact replica of a Windows OS (even Windows 95), at the end of the day he's going to be like "which website do I go on to download this file," "why doesn't C: show up," etc.
  • Anyone else have problems with the chicago95 installer?

Besides not even providing a link to said "chicago95' installer thing, I would remind you that you'll get on topic support here, instead: https://github.com/grassmunk/Chicago95/issues
