Flashing CR-6 MAX with latest most stable Community firmware. Any clear step by step for the MAX?
The refactored firmware only needs to be done if you have a relatively new printer with a DGUS version that is too new to run with the display firmware bundled with the CFW. You can read what is new and what is deprecated here... Refactored display FW . If your printer is a year old, it is unlikely that you need to use this version.

CR6 Max stuck on boot screen after firmware update
If your printer is relatively new (within the last few months), then you may have a display which requires different firmware than what is bundled with your motherboard firmware. It is called the "refactored version" and can be found on the github page where you got the motherboard firmware or here... https://github.com/CR6Community/CR-6-touchscreen/releases/tag/61F_220622_v1 .

Touchscreen and/or motherboard upgrades for the CR-6 SE
So, if you believe you've flashed a newer screen with the older kernel, you need to download the Re-Factored screen software from: https://github.com/CR6Community/CR-6-touchscreen/releases/tag/61F_220622_v1

CR-ERA V1.1.0.3 community firmware update
There are a couple things that seem to trip up a lot of people in the firmware updating process so I'll mention them in case they apply to you. Many people forget to do step 3 of the prerequisites for flashing the display firmware. Read that step in the prerequisites here... https://github.com/CR6Community/CR-6-touchscreen/blob/extui/src/README.md . Did you do that?
