  • Pi-hole

A black hole for Internet advertisements

  • For any of the more technologically inclined people out there, instead of trusting DuckDuckGo with all of your data, you can accomplish the same thing at home for free. The easiest way would be to set up some kind of DNS filtering. I have a Pi-Hole that I use, and it will block ads and trackers throughout your whole network once you set it up. Alternatively, there are plenty of public DNS providers that offer ad-blocking- you would just have to change a setting or two in your router or phone.
