WinUI 1 is coupled to Windows 8, WinUI 2 is coupled to Windows 10, but WinUI 3 (not yet released) is decoupled completely from Windows to support all the targets of .NET 6. WinUI 3 uses Platform Uno, a competitor of Skia, which makes WinUI 3 a competitor of Flutter.
